hats come in two sizes of letters, small and large. small lettered hats have a limit of twenty characters, including punctuation and spaces. large lettered hats have a limit of ten characters. going to the limit will take up about half the hat, so if you would like a message easily legible from the front or side i recommend erring on the side of less characters.
i provide two options for the brim of the hat: ribbed (edge obtion a) or seed stitch (edge option b)
let me know what kind of detail you’d like surrounding the words! i pictured hearts and female signs, but if you have another design in mind you’d be interested in contact me to see if i can make it work.
colors vary depending on yarns i have in stock, but please let me know if you have preferences and if i have those colors in stock, i will use them! (preferences are mainly important for what color you would like the letters/detail and what color you want the brim to be, but if you tell me colors you like in general i’ll try to work them in!)
charms also vary depending on which ones i have. contact me to find out what kinds of charms are currently available! i have a bunch of watering can charms and fish charms of various styles, but i also have a small collection of miscellaneous charms, so if neither of those options appeal to you (or even if you are just curious) let me know and i’ll tell you more options.
most of the yarns i use are either wool or acrylic or a blend of those.
please give me about a week to make and ship your hat. chances are it will take me less than this, but i am a student so some times are busier than others!
